IREN shares rose 5.5% on Monday after The Information reported that the company has signed a multiyear cloud services deal with Anthropic (Investing.com, Dow Jones).
What was reported
Investing.com says IREN, which has moved from cryptocurrency mining to supplying AI servers, entered a multiyear cloud agreement with Anthropic, per The Information. Dow Jones said IREN gained in premarket trading on the same report. Terms were not part of the reports we reviewed, and we have not seen a statement from either company.
The stock had fallen 6.8% so far this year through Friday's close, so Monday's gain recovers part of that (Investing.com). Dow Jones also noted a separate report that Amazon is in talks to buy AI startup Decart; see our {L('toast-tickers-2026-10-12','Toast & Tickers')}.
